Sharan for Animals: Promoting Compassionate Choices and Ecological Harmony

Sharan for Animals is a non-profit organization based in Nashik City incorporated in 2005 and founded by Mrs. Sharanya Shetty. Since its inception, Sharan for Animals has been working towards the welfare of animals. Sharan works in rehabilitating domestic and wildlife animals and has been at the forefront of animal rescue and welfare activities in Nashik District and beyond. We work in giving a chance to each animal to become healthy and prevent cases of animal abuse and strive for values that promotes ecological harmony.

Sharan for Animals excellent network of volunteers and workers help in disseminating information about animal abuse, animal protection, educating and counselling in related issues and promoting and encouraging people towards making compassionate choices. Our constant endeavors are helping in maintain a compassionate bond between humans and nature through various campaigns that promote harmony and reduce nature abuse like cruelty towards animals. We promote and educate people through utilizing various media resources like social media platforms which include Facebook, Instagram and conducting regular events like pet adoption camps, tree plantation and animal awareness and protection drives. We at Sharan receive animal rescue and rehabilitation calls and requests which come from Nashik and nearby areas. Our crisis management team works round the clock in rescuing and rehabilitating animals with proper care. Team Sharan believes in providing quick, efficient medical aid and proper care to rescued animals and not only heal them physically but also mentally. All rescues at Sharan are carried out as per necessary guidelines while maintaining a healthy environment for the animals and their wellbeing. We at Sharan, with our dedication and commitment always work in achieving our goal of protecting animals and their survival with human coexistence. Our operations are carried out from land leased from Nashik Municipal Corporation in Nashik.

Mission

Our mission at Sharan for Animals (PFA) is to save animals in need of medical help due to some uncertain phenomena. We rescue, treat them with loads of love and proper medical care and try to release them in their natural habitat. Our crisis management team and volunteers respond to the emergency rescues in and around Nashik city.

Vision

Nashik is one of the fastest growing cities in India. With development and urbanization, we have been facing a lot of issues with wildlife and stray animals that are directly or indirectly affected. Sharan for Animals provides quick and emergency medical aid to urban and wildlife animals that require it the most. We also undertake various initiatives in promoting a healthy and dynamic environment for these animals to avoid environmental degradation and animal cruelty.
